wooot!
ALRIGHT gymnastics!! USA 1-2! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time watching Nastia Liukin go through her routines, and an excellent, excellent job to Shawn Johnson! Alrighty, watching the complete finals and then the medals ceremony has kept me up wayyy, tooo late. Work tomorrow calls.

I know the Olympics have kept me up so late these last few nights!
Do most students (besides freshman) bring a car to uva? Is it a necessity once off campus. I am thinking it would be hard off campus to get groceries and food without one ( a must!), however, I would prefer not to bring one.
Also, if you don't bring a car is there a good salon on the corner for haircuts, manicures, etc? Like most people, I have had too many bad haircut and manicure experiences that before I go to a new salon I want to make sure it has a good reputation. Thanks!
Hmm, quite a few people actually don't bring their cars. It's really convenient to get around on our buses and even walk to places. There's some pretty good salons in bus accessible places, and I've heard of a good one on the Corner, but I'm not sure what's it's called. Come here and ask some upperclassmen what their favorite places are. Hope this helps!
Excited to watch the men's swim final tonight? Phelps is definitely getting another gold.
